Hotel Inglaterra is very easy to find. It is located in the seaside pueblo of  Puerto Morelos just 20 km directly south of Cancun airport and about 35 km south of the main town of Cancun. It is just 2 km from the traffic lights in Puerto Morelos on the main highway that runs from Cancun to Tulum. Turn east at the traffic lights on the highway in Puerto Morelos, drive about 2km along the road with tropical plants on either side  and as you arrive in the seaside  town, take the first turning on the left and you will find us just 100m on the right in Avenida Ninos Heroes. You can park right opposite the hotel..

We are 30 minutes by car or bus from both the main town of  Cancun and Playa del Carmen. The Mayan ruins of Chichen-Itza are just over 2 hours drive away.
Puerto Morelos is a little fishing/aquasports and tourist town for holidaymakers who wish to spend some time in a nature park which boasts a wonderful beach, a reef for snorkeling and diving, a crocodile farm and botanical gardens with monkeys and the recently opened cenotes (sink holes) in Vallarta just a few kilometers away. It is an ideal winter resort with day time highs about 28C and night time lows normally above 20C. Check out Puerto Morelos on www.weather.com to see what you are missing now. But it is also great at other times of the year. In high summer the sea can be as warm as 30C. And because the beach sand is made of corral it never burns your feet between the sea and the restaurant/bars adjoining the beech.

It is also an excellent center for visiting the Mayan Riviera with its beaches, its little villages and the Mayan ruins in Tulum,  and the attractions ofPlaya del Carmen and  Cancun.
Puerto Morelos has shops including a supermarket, a handicraft center, souvenir shops and internet facilities. Ourhotel has wi-fi for your laptop.. There are also all sorts of restaurants and bars which provide all the famous Mexican drinks, good dining, light snacks, a friendly atmosphere and night entertainment.

Much of the life of the town centers round the main square 200m from the hotel. There is a very good bus and taxi service to the highway from where our guests can travel easily and cheaply all along the Mayan Riviera and visit other places of interest.

There is a travel agency which can organize every type of tour and a local operator of jungle and cenote tours. Cenotes are natural sink holes of perfectly pure water at 24C leading to the vast underground river system of the Yucatan peninsula.

To find the hotel from the town of Cancun
Take the bus from the central bus station in Cancun and get off at Puerto Morelos. From the highway you can take a bus (2km) to the hotel in Avenida Ninos Heroes (first road on the left as you enter the town).

To find the hotel from the airport
There is a direct bus from the airport to the Highway in Puerto Morelos. From there take a taxi or the local shuttle bus to the first stop in the centre of the town. We are 100m on the right in Avenida Ninos Heroes which is the first road on the left as you come into Puerto Morelos.

Car Rental
All the major car rental companies are at the airport in Cancun. You can also rent a car directly in Puerto Morelos. To find the hotel follow the highway south to the traffic signals in Puerto Morelos. Turn left and follow the road that leads to the sea and the town-center. Hotel Inglaterra is on the first road on the left 100m down the road on the right.

Taxi
A taxi will take you from the airport to the hotel in under 20 minutes. Fix the price first!!
